Recording info: Recorded @ Surf Sound studio (Don Christensen's downtown loft), New York City in November 1982. Engineered by Donnie Bill Christensen [The Contortions/The Raybeats] and Dan Dreyden [Philip Glass Ensemble]. Kristian's piano parts were recorded one day at his house by Lydia Lunch on a portable cassette recorder. Mixed @ Western Work, Sheffield in April 1984 by Lydia Lunch.
Note 1: All tracks composed by Lydia Lunch and Thurston Moore, except "Still Burning" (Rowland S.Howard) and "Some Boys" by Murray Mitchell [13.13], which were written at the Honeymoon In Red recording sessions in Berlin during June/July 1982 (and remained unreleased until 1988). Line-up: Lydia Lunch (vocals)/ Pat Place [Contortions/Bush Tetras] (guitar)/ Thurston Moore [Sonic Youth] (bass)/ Jim Sclavunos [Sonic Youth] (sax)/ Kristian Hoffman [Swinging Madisons/13.13] (piano) and Richard Edson [Konk,Sonic Youth] (drums).
