Note 1: Labeled as "Real Pornography", which is a follow-up to her illustrated word rant "In Our Time Of Dying". It examines the endless cycle of abuse and domination, where cruel 'fathers' spread fear and prejudice creating a world wide panic in which the individuals only real rebellion is to reclaim their capacity for pleasure which has been stolen from them by madmen and maniacs whose tyrannical rule is turning the entire planet into a blood soaked battlefield of death and destruction. "Real Pornography" is a word based multi-media presentation with live musical accompaniment and live VJ-ing. Mainly one-off dates.
Note 2: Above track, at one of these dates, released on the "Video Hysterie" video DVD (not the VHS). Filmed by Habitual Video Team (tapes #0734 and #0735). Lydia Lunch (voice/images)/ David Knight [Shock Headed Peters] (keyboards) and Ian White [Gallon Drunk/Big Sexy Noise] (drums/percussion), with video projections by Marc Viaplana and Josep M Jordana.

Review: "People gathered in front of the stage, [and] it is obvious that Lydia Lunch is eagerly awaited. I notice a white screen in the background, so there will also be [video] projections. Ian White's kit is essentially made up of toms and a snare drum. All the rest of the music will be on tapes. Mélanie Gautier, responsible for the live translation of Lydia Lunch's texts, sits on the left and the queen of the underground arrives in her turn, wearing a sober black dress. [...] The music is rather atmospheric with an occasional strong jazzy accent and Lydia Lunch is strong enough to deliver her words in her drawling and now rather serious voice [...] Unfortunately the translation spoils everything a little: I have nothing against Mélanie Gautier, a beautiful voice and a certain presence, but the passages where Lydia Lunch speaks alone are the best. Ian White's percussion playing hardly convinces me either, too demonstrative and not adding much, especially not action, which is a shame. The lack of action is what is sorely lacking in this performance. [...] I try to focus a little on the texts but Lydia Lunch's stories of voodoo sex, addiction, blood and ghosts don't interest me that much - if there is any message, at least one impression to be drawn from this, I am completely missing the point. [...] I prefer to think that that evening it was just an off day for Lydia Lunch. from Heavy Mental blogspot.
Note: Labeled as "Blood is just memory without language: songs of sex, sorrow and rage". With Ian White [Gallon Drunk/Big Sexy Noise] (drums) and Mélanie Gautier (simultaneous translation in French). Lydia and Mélanie starred in Virginie Despentes 2012 film "Bye Bye Blondie".
