The year in which Lydia starts her collaboration with Die Haut.

June 1982
EU Lydia first met Die Haut during the joint Birthday Party/Die Haut/Rowland S.Howard tour of Europe which started in June 1982.


July 1982
UK London,Brixton,Cold Storage studios,recording "Der Karibische Western" 12" with Die Haut. Engineered by Charles Bullen [This Heat]. Lydia Lunch is listed on the record sleeve as Stella Rico. Line-up: Christoph Dreher (bass)/ Remo Park (guitar)/ Martin Peter (guitar)/ Thomas Wydler (drums). With Lydia Lunch (vocals on "Der Karibische Western") and Nick Cave (whistling on "Die Faulen Hunde Von Tijuana")

Thomas Wydler would join the Bad Seeds in April 1985 and Christophe Dreher temporarily joined the Bad Seeds during the same April 1985 UK tour.


1982
GE Release of "Der Karibische Western" 12" single on Film Palast/Zensor records.






1990
The year in which Lydia resumes her collaboration with Die Haut by recording for their "Head On" album.

May 1990

The year in which Lydia continues recording for their "Head On" album and joins them on 3 rare dates in the Ukraine.

Rainer Lingk joins the Shotgun Wedding live band with which Lydia Lunch toured Europe. Rowland S.Howard, Harry Howard, Jim Sclavunos and Link Benka are the other band members.






1992
The year in which the "Head On" album is released and the band tours to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Note: All above tracks broadcast by German WDR1 FM radio, except (*). The band arrived late for their headlining act due to being stuck on the motorway en route from Vienna. Due to a 'curfew' the band was forced to stop early (i.e. the P.A. was switched off). The band attempted to continue by using the stage amplifiers, but that was halted as well. Some sort of riot and booing from the audience ensued. The tour continues without Lydia who returns to the US for spoken word shows and recording with My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. Lydia would not work with this band again, who by end of June 1997 perform their last live concert.
