Chronology: a chronological overview of known concert dates (some with setlists and/or ads), 
dates of studio recordings, all line-ups and other trivia related to the American band Matrikamantra.

The year in which the Matrikamantra project is started.

Lydia Lunch leaves San Francisco and moves to Pittsburgh in April 1995. She stays until December 1999.

The year in which the album is recorded.

January 1997
US Lydia Lunch produces @ the Audiomation studio in Pittsburgh Vanessa Skantze's "Pariah" album. Joseph Budenholzer (of Backworld) and Kamilsky (a.k.a. Kamil Kruta, a musician [bass in UJD] from the Czech Republic and now living in San Bernardino) help out. With Joe and other band members of Backworld Lydia enters the studio to record "Matrikamantra", a work of psycho- acoustic theatre in the form of a homage to Romanian philosopher poet Emil Cioran.
